THE SEVEN BLESSINGS OF REDEMPTION

Scripture declares in PSALM 107: 2 , “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.”

When you knoe you are redeemed, your walk with God will change.

You’ll see yourself in a brand new light. You will know God has placed such great value on you because He purchased you through the precious blood of His dear Son.

That blood was shed for all mankind ... every man, woman, boy and girl and all we have to do is say YES to experience that redemption. From the moment you are ransomed from sin, there are blessings and promises from the Word of God available to you. THE SEVEN BLESSINGS OF REDEMPTION.

1. Because you are redeemed, the Holy Spirit is upon you:

The Holy Spirit is given to us because of redemption...because of the cross.

“And He showed me a pure river of water of life, clear and crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.” ( REVELATION 22: 1)

The blood always brought the fire down in the old covenant and so it is today, the blood brings the Spirit of the Lord down upon your life. The river of life refers to the Holy Spirit. He proceeds out of the Lamb. That means the redemptive work of Christ gives us the Holy Spirit.

2. Because you are redeemed, you are reconciled to God:

The power of the blood of Jesus removed all that seperated you from God:

“But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are made near by the blood of Jesus Christ.” ( EPHESIANS 2: 13)

The blood restored your relationship and fellowship with God.(COLOSSIANS 1: 20)

“And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth or in heaven.”

When Jesus bought you by His own blood, and incredible spiritual union occured.

3. Because you are redeemed, there is an uninterrupted cleansing of the blood:

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, cleanses us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ( I JOHN 1: 7-9 )

It is abiding, continual cleansing. When God looks at you, He sees the blood of His Son and the work of the cross cleansing you as you walk in fellowship with Him.

4. Because you are redeemed, you are sanctified:

Jesus sanctified you with His blood: ( HEBREWS 13: 12 ) declares:

“Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood,

suffered without the gate.” The word “sanctify” means to be set apart for the Master’s use. We are sanctified for a purpose of serving the Lord. (II Timothy 2: 21)

“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”

5. Because you are redeemed, you are perfected:

HEBREWS 10: 14 declares, “For by one offering He has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” By on e offering-and that was Christ’s blood-you are perfected.

You may not think of yourself as perfect, but when God looks at you through the blood of Jesus, He sees you as perfect.

6. Because you are redeemed, God does not remember your sins:

Because you are purchased and perfected by the blood, God does not remember your sins - not  one of them! God declares in JEREMIAH 31: 34

“For i will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Every sin is forgotten and is under the blood. Every sin has been washed away and this gives you unlimited access to the very throne room of God.

“Having therefore boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which He has consecrated for us, through the veil, His flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, have our hearts sprinked from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised.” HEBREWS 10: 19- 23

7. Because you are redeemed, you have victory and protection:

God’s Word declares powerfully in the BOOK of REVELATION 12: 11 -

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and the Word of Testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.”

Exodus 12 describes the Passover in Egypt when Israel marked their doorposts with the blood of the lamb, symbolic of the blood of Jesus. EXODUS 12: 23 declares

“For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.”

You have victory over the enemy and protection by the redemptive blood of Jesus. But the blood must be applied, just as Israel applied the blood to their doorpost

When was the last time you applied the blood to your problems? When was the last time you applied the blood on your family? When was the last time you applied the blood on your home aand your possessions? Why not do it right now? As you close this teaching on the power of the blood, make this confession of faith”

“Because I am redeemed, the Holy Ghost is upon me. I am reconciled to God and there is continual cleansing of my sin. I am sanctified, I am perfected, and God does not remember my sins! Because of redemptive blood, I have victory over the enemy and I am protected. I am covered. My home is covered.

My possession is covered. My family is covered.”

The Bible declares in PSALMS 107: 2 - “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.”

Declare every day that you are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Remind the enemy that you understand who you are, and what it means to be purchased by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
