THE  BLOOD  OF   JESUS

SALVATION - An act of being born again; being saved from eternal damnation.

John 3: 3 - “... Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 3: 17 - “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Acts 4: 12 - “Neither is there salvation in any other name: for this is no other name

under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

 ATONEMENT - The blood which blots out or covers over the sin of mankind.

Leviticus 17: 11 - “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.”

Romans 5: 11 -“But we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have received the atonement.”

 

REDEMPTION - The contract on your life is paid in full, bought back from the power of sin and death.

Psalm 107: 2 -“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hands of the enemy.”

Ephesians 1: 7 - “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

Revelation 5: 8 - “... You are worthy to take the Book, and to open the seals there;

for you was slain, and has redeemed us to God by your blood...”

 

JUSTIFICATION - We have been justified of guilt and sin.

Romans 5: 9 - “Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him.”

Acts 13: 38 - “Be it know unto you therefore, men and brothers, that through that man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.”

Acts 13: 38 - “And by him all that believe are justified from all things; from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”

 

RIGHTEOUSNESS - We are put back into right- standing with God.

Romans 3: 22 -“Even the righteousness of God which is buy faith of Jesus Christ unto all men and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference.”

Romans 3: 23 -“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3: 25 -“Whom God has set forth to be a propitation through faith in His blood, to declare hids righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,”

 

SANCTIFICATION - We are set apart unto God, at salvation as well as each day after through the blood of Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 1: 30 - “But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.”

Hebrews 10: 10 - “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

Hebrews 10: 14 - “For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”

 

REMISSION - The debt and guilt of sin has been cancelled.

Romans 3: 24 -“Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ.”

Romans 3: 25 - “...to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past.

 

RECONCILED - When we change our attitude and accept God’s provision, we change from hostility towards God to fellowship and love for Him.

Colosians 1: 20 - “And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself ...”

Romans 5: 10 - “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God, by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

 

OVERCOMING POWER - That which we received when we appropriate what has been delegated unto us.
