“Praise the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,
who greatly delights in His commandments!
This man is a man of faith, obedience, and love.
He believes God’s Word, obeys God’s Word and delights in it.
His descendants will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
His children are anointed and being used of God.
They are leaders, and they are blessed in every area of their lives.
Wealth and riches are in his house;
and his righteousness endures for ever.
This man experiences no lack and walks with God daily.
There is no need that is no met in his life.
Light rises in the darkness for the upright;
the LORD is gracious, merciful, and righteous.
This man walks in the fullness of the light
and the revelations of God’s Word.
It is well with the man who lends generously,
who conduct his affairs with justice.
This man is always helping others and lending.
All of his affairs are led by the wisdom of God.
For the righteous will never be moved;
he will be remembered for ever.
This man is established in the things of God.
He is not afraid of evil tidings;
his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
This man walks by faith and never fears an evil.
His heart is steady, he will not be afraid,
until he sees his desire on his adversaries.
God’s plans for this man are always published,
and the devil’s plans are always destroyed.
He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures for ever;
He is continual giver, a man who has learned
the truth of sowing and reaping.
His horn is exalted in honour.
And he is a man who walks in the authority of God’s Word.
The wicked man sees it and is angry;
he gnashes his teeth and melts away;
the desire of the wicked man comes to perish.”
The enemy is tormented continually while watching
the blessings of God be poured out upon this man.
