THE THICKNESS OF THE ANOINTING - II
LORD, thank You for the Anointing. There is the Anointing of God that everybody here needs to walk in. The Anointing is not something we can't know or feel or touch.
The Anointing is Tangible - you can feel it, you can touch it, you can know it.
In the Healing service you may felt a heat, you may felt electricity, you felt anointing.
It is not something you think you feel, for you even can smell presence of God.
It is an actual perfume, aroma, frangance of the presence of God what I can experience.
When you begin praising and worship and adoration of our God beautiful aroma is there.
When you worship and praise the Lord something happens in your spirit.
JOB 29: 6 declares: " And the rock poured out rivers of oil for me!"
This is the thick anointing, the oily anointing, anointing that never lifts off. It's not just oil, but it's thickness of the oil. When my life was thick in the Word, the
Rock, Jesus, poured out the rivers of oil for me! How many of you feel the presence of God today?
When you are faithful what God gives you as a talents, He will give you an anointing for it.
When you are faithful with the little, God will give you more and more and more.
When you are hungry for God and His anointing you are blessed. Never quit hunger for God and His power in your life. I want now get into the rivers of oil, to its thickness.
When we talk about the Anointing we are not talking about something we think is there.
You can actually see the Anointing, you can see a mist or vapour or some sort of smoke.
Many times I've seen Anointing on people as a mist over people's heads. You can see it!
The Anointing is visible manifestation of God's Presence. It's Heavenly Substance.
Every person feels the Anointing of God in the different way. Thank God we all know the same Jesus but we don't know Him in the same way. We all know the same Lord but yet we
all experience Him differently. I'll show how the people of the Bible experienced Anointing.
JEREMIAH 5: 14 declares: "Behold, I will make My Words in your mouth fire."
The Anointing came on Jeremiah as a fire in his mouth. His tongue was as on fire.
I feel my feet on fire hundreds of times, I felt my feet as burning. JEREMIAH 20: 9 says:
"But His Word was in my heart like a burning fire." You can feel the heat in your chest.
Anybody of you felt the heat rush through your body? When you feel it? As fire inside of you
There is Tangible Anointing of God but people don't realise it. Look what DANIEL 10: 10 says: "Then suddenly, a hand touched me which made me tremble on my knees
and on the palms of my hands." Anyone felt the same hand touched you. I felt many times the touch of God on me. That's the manifestation of the Anointing of God on you.
PSALM 45: 1 declares: "My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer."
Your heart is just bubbling over, overflowing with anointing that you can speak and write.
The Anointing could be fire in your mouth, fire in your heart, heart overflowing.
ACTS 18: 5 declares:"Paul was constrained by the Spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ." There was as the surge of the energy
inside of him. Boldness came.
That is the Anointing and sometimes you will feel as the surge of energy is rushing to you.
Your fear goes away, your mind became clear and your mouths will declare Jesus is Christ!
Anointing of God is real, genuine, tangible experience in your life. And that anointing on you can be transferred on
somebody else. I will show you. Do you know that a man named Elisha had anointing in his bones? The anointing was so thick on him that took years to be stored in his bones. So the body of another man was
throw into grave where Elijah laid and his body was quickened by prophet's anointing. That was thick anointing.
The Anointing was transferred through man's bones. II KINGS 13: 21
The Anointing was transferred through the hands of apostle Paul. ACTS 19: 11
ACTS 19: 11, 12 declares: "Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and
the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them."
The anointing can be transferred through a body as in ACTS 19: 12
The anointing can be transferred on a piece of cloth. MARK 6: 56
"Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the border of His
garment.
And as many as touched Him, were made well."
His very cloth, His garment was charged with an Anointing of God. Greater works you shall do. If Jesus was charged with such Anointing was is wrong with me and you?
Peter had it greater and I'll show you one place how God anointed Peter to do His works.
The Anointing of God was transferred through the clothing of Jesus. MARK 6: 56.
The Anointing of God was transferred through a piece of wood. EXODUS 4: 20
If the piece of dead wood would have an anointing - what's wrong with some Christians?
Even the shadow of Peter passing by have an anointing and healed. ACTS 5: 15
"So that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches,
that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them."
Whenever an Anointing comes there always will be manifestations in the physical realm.
Let's discuss Falling under the Power of God. Maybe it happens to you and you don't understand it. Why people shaking and shivering on the floor. These all are the
manifestations of the presence of God and I will show it in the Bible.
II CHRONICLES 5: 14 as people worship and praise they cannot stand, another words whole church fall under the power of God as they worshipped Him. And I know someone who when
were fallen under the power of God, the LORD spoken to them. God can put you on the floor so He can talk to you. Don't pick up for God has a chance to talk to them. From Adam from Genesis to John
in Revelation we see people under the power of God.
You remember when Adam was under the power of God, he gave him a wife. Look now.
At EZEKIEL 1: 28 declares: "So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice..."
In DANIEL 10: 10 says: "Then, suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands." Daniel was under the power
of God.
Paul was under the power of God when God spoke to him. I pray that God will knock you down to speak to you! ACTS 26: 14 says: "And when we all had fallen to the
ground,
I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in Hebrew language ..." In ACTS 9: 4 it is falling under the power of God when "Then he fell to the
ground, and heard a voice..."
ACTS 9: 7 - "And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice."
When a power of God comes on an individual and God has a purpose in it the overflow of that anointing can touch somebody else as well.
I believe that God will not talk to you under the power of God when your heart is not seeking Him. Ezekiel was seeking
God, Daniel was seeking God, and even Saul who was seeking to kill the Christians, in his heart was seeking to please God. And God spoke to him.
So there will be these who will fall under the power of God but their heart was not with God.
They came to be healed but not heart for God and they fall under the power of God but they come out of church won't change even a jota. Their hearts were not seeking Him. God
in His mercy was trying to awake them up but they were bounded by a sin and never repent at all.
GOD save us from that in Jesus' mighty Name.
