THE INCREASE OF THE ANOINTING - IV
The Anointing of the Holy Spirit is dependent on you!
As a Born Again believer you have a measure of the Anointing on you. The seed of that anointing is already in you. Then it will depend on you, what you do with it.
ACTS 1: 8 says: "You shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you." You shall receive God's Anointing for Power and Anointing are one. You receive that Anointing
after the Presence of God, the Power of God, the Spirit of God come upon. You cannot receive Anointing of God unless Spirit of God is within you and after you shall be God's witness in the world. When He
comes into you, He brings His fruits.
You know that the Holy Spirit is within you by the fruits of the Spirit like Love, peace, patience, kindness ... The Holy Spirit comes unto your life and the evidence of His presence will be seen. When
you are filled with the Spirit of God, world will know it. and not only that you are speaking in the unknown tongues, but the proof for anointing and the presence of God in your life is by fruits not by
gifts. Gifts can come and go.
The gifts are precious and valuable like gift of tongues so we can speak mysteries unto God in prayer. If you want confuse the enemy just speak with tongues to God and your enemy never will find out what
you just told to God. For when you pray in English devil can listen and prevent your course what you asked God,(look on Daniel's prayer) but when you pray in tongues he can do nothing. Paul said that He
is praying in tongues more than anybody. I know that Holy Spirit is praying perfect prayer to the Father when I pray in tongues. God gave us wonderful gift of praying in tongues.
The gift of tongues comes in when you are filled with the Spirit of God. The Proof and the Evidence of the Spirit of God dwelling inside us that took your fearful ego and make you bold for Christ. You are
filled with the Spirit of Power and you are not hiding in fear. You old self filled with fear is now New Creature filled with Faith. One of the fruits of the Spirit is Faith. Are you remember 120 in the
Upper Room they were witness of the pouring of the Spirit of God and all were filled with the Spirit and they spake in different tongues. The proof of that tat they were recognised that they were with
Jesus. The evidence was the Power and when somebody is filled with the Spirit there is Power in manifestation. You have the Power and you have the evidence when the Presence of God will come into
your life. There will be Love, Joy, Peace, Good-ness, Faith . There were the attributes of God in your life. You remember when Moses said to God: Show me Your Glory, God came and show Him His attributes
as: Grace, Mercy, and Longsuffering. because God doesn't have grace, mercy or longsuffering. He is Gracious, Merciful and Longsuffering. And who He is He presents in His Presence. And all these things
will be manifested out of you in your everyday lifestyle.
You will receive the anointing of His Power after you experience the baptism of His Spirit. After His presence will come into you with His attributes and His fruits , He will trust more to carry with His
anointing to serve. He will equip you to serve. So, if you are believer, everybody of you have an measure of His anointing inside you.
The Power resides in you once the Holy Spirit will come upon you.
And once the Holy Spirit is with you, that anointing begins to increase!
II SAMUEL 12 : 8 declares: "I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah.
And if that had been to little, I also would have given you much more!"
As you remember that story is about David who commit great sin with Bathsheba.
Prophet Nathal came and God spoke through him to David: "I've given you this and this and this and you despised that all through his sinning against Lord in adultery.
Thank God, David said: "Lord have mercy on me." And God restored him completely.
And the Bible declares that David was a man after God's heart. You see one big difference between David and Saul - both men did terrible things on the side of God.
Both sinned terribly. When Saul sinned, Samuel come to him and said: "you've sinned against God, Saul. And Saul said: "Samuel, forgive me." When David sinned and Nathan came and said:
"You sinned." David doesn't said "Nathan, forgive me" He said: "Lord, Forgive me." First man sought man, another man sought God."
Both men sought forgiveness but doesn't sought forgiveness from the same source.
One sought forgiveness of man and another man sought forgiveness from God.
When you ask for forgiveness is important whom you ask, who is your source.
Thank God, David didn't look on Nathel. He went to his knees and said: "I sinned against You, Lord; Have mercy on me." And God said: "He is a man I like, he is a man after my own
heart." So when you fail don't you dare go to man, go to God for clear.
FIRST KEY is never look what you got from God and say" It's too little." Even this precious gift of tongues or any other gift in your life, maybe some ability you have or some talents you have.
If you want to increase anointing on you, appreciate what you already have from God. SECOND KEY is in LUKE 24: 28 declare how to learn how to hold unto Master when He shows up. Hold back what you
received, keep it. Guard it. Hold it, keep it, guard it. Stay with Him. When you have experience with Jesus sometime, learn to abide with Him. God loves to hide Himself. Do you know why?
ISAIAH 45: 15“Truly You are God, who hide Yourself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
Why He is hiding? Because God Almighty loves to be looked for, it's a part of His nature. Longer you look for Him, less of you stays alive. You should look in prayer.
He keeps you waiting for His presence to kill your flesh. The longer you look for Him, less your fleshy nature is there to meet with Him. Remember as Jacob wrestled with God? God said after He conquer:
Your name is no longer Jacob, it is Israel."
So God hides Himself to keep you looking and longer you look, you are closer to Him.
JEREMIAH 29: 13 declare: "And you will seek Me, and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD." That's the key!
Do you want find God in your life? get your heart involve in this matter.
When I learn these things is what I am giving to you who want the anointing increase. Number 1. Appreciate what you have Number 2. Constrain Him, hold Him back. THIRD KEY is in LUKE 16: 10 - "He
who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much: and he who is unjust is what is least is unjust also in much."
Be faithful whatever God gives you is that key. Be faithful in your gifts and put it to use. Don't bury it, put it into use. Be faithful to little you have. FOURTH KEY is in
ACTS 4: 13 says: "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and saw that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled. And they realised that they had seen with Jesus."
The anointing will increase by association as we see.
Presence of Jesus has rubbed on them anointing of God. And Jews said: "They been with Jesus." They realised that these men get more than just gifts and talents. So, you people, associate with
the people who are anointed. Stick around them, stay around them till anointing rubs on your life. As you remember when David flew with six hundred outcasts, his anointing made them giant killers, mighty
man fighting for God.
What happen to them. An anointing of David rub on them and they become mighty.
Remember disciples? They were with JESUS and they recognised His anointing.
Association makes a difference. Moses - Joshue, Paul - Timothy and so on.
Associate with men who have an anointing! Association is so important because an anointing rubs on people. When I found one person with an anointing, I said: I will stick with that person. I use to cry on
my knees: O God anoint me, use me and God did it. But was the price to pay for it and I didn't realise it in those years. And pain too.
God listen to people who make themselves available and ask: Lord, use me. And God will test you and put you into test after test, after test. And when through testing you is nothing left, you're dead to
yourself, then He says: Now, you are ready to serve Me.
FIFTH KEY is when JESUS made powerful statement one day. This is the foundation.
MATTHEW 5: 3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for their is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for their is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus said if you poor in spirit, My Kingdom of Heaven belongs to you!
The word "poor in spirit" is opposite the word of "self-sufficiency"
The word "poor in spirit" is opposite independence from God.
Poor in spirit is a pain for discovery that I have nothing, I am nothing and I can do nothing. Poor in spirit means that best performance is unacceptable.
Poor in spirit is the opposite of self-sufficiency. Poor in spirit is the opposite of independence. To be independent before God is abomination in His sight.
Poor in spirit is the painful discovery that I have nothing, I am nothing and I can do nothing. Poor in spirit is that my best performance in His presence is unacceptable.
And then you are realise what He meant when He said: "All your righteousness is as filthy rag before Me." What is to be poor in spirit? Alter helplessness, complete dependence upon the Lord.
When you say I am stripped, stripped of all self.
That's death to yourself. God said this staggering statement in ISAIAH 66: 2
"But on this one will I look: on him who is poor and of contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word." God said here that His house is in the man who is poor and contrite in the
spirit. Contrite spirit is the poor in spirit. The same words Jesus used.
What David said to the LORD? My contrite heart you shall not despise, O LORD.
He is looking on our contrite spirit towards Him. PSALM 51: 10 asks: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a contrite spirit within me."
God dwells in the hearts of those who are contrite, humble, poor, broken spirit.
Do you want an anointing on your life, than tear everything out of your life which is not of God. Tear your self-sufficiency out of you, your ability out of you, your doings out of you, your tendency out
of you and came before God and say:
I am nothing, I have nothing, I want nothing.
The Lord anointed me and visited me and I didn't know why until one day: I was on Miss Khulman meeting and once she started to cry. And she asked crowd of saints:
"Do you know why God is using me?" Because one day I looked up and I said to Him:
" I have nothing to give you but my Love, I am nothing and I have nothing but Love."
That's poor in spirit. God literally look for people who come and say: I am nothing, and I have nothing. That's death to self! If you get to that place, is no limit to the anointing on your
life. You will be shining through and God's presence will be on you!
That is the kind of Christian Life he wants us to live. But there is a limitation to every anointing. When God anoints you, He limits you to certain area. You cannot walk out of your anointing. Literally
God places you and say: "Stay here." This is your calling.
Don't walk out of your anointing. Be careful to step out of your anointing.
Now I want show you something when I pray for years: God, let me serve you, don't let anything happen to me, take not Your Spirit from me. And I ask Lord for answer:
"Lord, show me the key how to stay in the perfect will of God." Show me how to walk with You, Lord. I asked: Lord, show me the key in your Word that will keep me clean.
God led me to the verse that blew me away. That answered my question, because I wandered how great men of God have fallen and why they are fallen. This verse change the way I pray now. I know that key. I
found the key that keeps me walk with God. This verse hit me in my spirit. ECCLESIASTES 7: 26 declared as clear to me:
"And I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets.
He who pleases God shall escape from her, but the sinner shall be taken by her."
Holy Spirit was taken these words: "He who pleases God shall escape" It was like fire.
So my prayer lately was like that: Keep me pleasing You, Lord.
Now I believe that anointing of God will be imparted on you mighty.
The key to your anointing is the same as God anoint Jesus and said after baptism:
"This is My beloved son in whom I am well pleased." It is the key to anointing for you. Keep pleasing Him and He never cease to anoint you, to bless you, to pour His power upon
you. Please Him. please Him. Please Him. When you please God even your enemies shall be at peace with you. "He who pleases God shall escape from her." How many of you want to stay
in the will of God?Please Him, Please Him.
Father, I thank You for the Word and I thank you that those who please you will always walk righteously before You. And now I pray for those who receive the Truth about Your Anointing and I know the
price which is to pay for an anointing upon their lives. Father God I pray that none of us will ever despise what we have whether big or small we will be faithful what we receiving, master. And above all
Lord we will continue to please you. And I pray for these people: may we never cease to please You, Lord. By Your Spirit bring us to that place pleasing You Lord continually, continually, continually.
Lord, I know what I must to do to remain faithful. I will always be faithful and not because of my own righteousness but because of my dependence on Your Power to bring me to You continually. Lord Jesus,
I know the total death to self will mean complete victory. Amen.
