I PETER 2: 6
Who is the stone, who is the Rock of our salvation - JESUS. And in MATTHEW 7: 24
“Therefore whoever hears these saying of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to wise man, who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the flood came, and
the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was on the rock.
The house was built upon the Rock, Jesus Christ, not upon the sand of human work.
Jesus said one powerful thing here: You must build first foundation upon the Rock.
Build by hearing and doing the Word of God, continually: hearing and doing.
ACTS 20: 32 - “And now, brothers, I commend you to God and to the Word of His Grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all saints.”
The Word build us and give us an inheritance among those who are sanctified.
First we hear Word of God and after we apply. We hear and apply, hear and apply.
As we hear and apply, we build and receive the promises the same time. The Word will build you, and the Word will give you. You cannot receive from God blessed promises until
you hear them, and do apply them. You have to read the Word, receive His precious promises and commandments and apply them in your daily life. As you do it, the Word begins to built you up as Christian.
You become solid and now you became to receive from heaven the precious promises of God for you and your household.
ISAIAH 8: 20 - “By the law and to the testimony: If they speak not according to this Word, it is because is no light in them.”
They do not speak according to the Word of God and there is no light in them.So no doctrine, no teaching, no prophesy or revelation
is to be accepted if it does not apply in full accord to the written Word of God.
You must to be saved and not allow yourself beyond borders of scripture.
Do not do anything or practise anything what is not biblically based.
We know who Jesus is, it is most important we know who we are in Jesus.
On His foundation we become to build our lives. By hearing His Word and by applying His Word. Hearing again, applying again, hearing again and applying again.
And when we receive, He begins to build us up. It is natural process.
And next you will see the manifestations of this WORD in your life.
Impart to yourself His wealth in His Word, by hearing and applying.
You become strong and obtain His inheritance together with all saints.
Hearing and Living the WORD is extremly important.
Only we hear properly, when the Spirit of God delivers The Word to us.
PSALM 33: 6 - “By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made,
and all the hosts of them by the Breath of His mouth.”
Faith is born by the Holy Spirit. The Word is heard by the breath that carries it.
This breath, this Spirit carries this voice. We hear when the breath reaches our life.
God`s breath carries His Word, as your breath carries your voice. It is impossible to receive the Word without breath of God. So we hear the Word as the breath carries it.
Apart from the Word we end up in fanatism and foolishness. When we look and see only manifestations of the Spirit, without foundations of Word, we end up in fanatism.
If we profess the Word without the Spirit then we always end up in powerless and dead religion formalism. If you have the Word without Spirit it will be dead in religion.
And if you only see manifestations without the Word then you have fanaticism.
You have to get both: WORD and the SPIRIT. If you only have the WORD,
You dry out, if you only have the SPIRIT, you blow out, if you have the both,
You grow up. HEBREWS 4: 12 declares:
“For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
There are three things about the Word of God:
1. It is living and powerful ( energetic, vibrant and active )
When Word of God is coming into your life is carrying out the divine energy into you.
2. It is sharper than twoedged sword. The Word divide all those who hear, all those who recect it and those who receive it. Jesus said: I come to bring the sword.
The Word of God divide into two classes: Those who receive it and those who reject it.
3. The Word is discerner the thoughts and intents of the heart.
This Word is opening the inward nature of man, nature of the heart and carries it towards God, when he hears the Word of the Lord. The Bible declares that:
Word of God for some is Life and for some is death.
So God`s Word is powerful, it`s energetic, it is sword dividing soul and spirit and reveals intends of the heart and the man`s thoughts. It brings unto open people`s natures
and character. I CORINTHIANS 1: 18 declares that for some is death and for some life.
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is power of God.”
You want to see the Word of God to have mighty impact into your life., you better do two things very important in your spiritual life: JAMES 1: 21, 22 declares:
“Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls. And be doers of the Word,
and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
If you want the Word of God have serious impact on your life, Scripture says that we must do two things to receive the Word.
* Lay apart all filthiness ( lay aside perverse life which is impure )
* Receive the implanted Word ( receive revelations from the Word )
You begin to build your life on the Word of God when faith will grow in you.
Faith is not mental. Faith is the exercise of the heart beginings with Word of God.
ROMANS 10: 8- 10 “The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart, the Word of Faith that we preach. That if you confess with your mouth the
Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouths confession is made into salvation.”
